You can start as a guest in the mobile app. Continue with Apple or add an email address and password to protect your guest progress. Guest progress cannot be recovered if you lose access to that guest identity.
The catalog brings together sources including Catalogue of Life, iNaturalist, GBIF, Wikimedia Commons, Encyclopedia of Life, and Wikidata. Photo credits and licenses are retained, and educational content is reviewed before publication. Visit our sources page for details.
